The First Comprehensive Player A-Y by Colin Jones.

Profiles of every player who as played for the Swans in the Southern and Football League from 1912 to 2005.

A brief examination of this book will make it clear to the reader that the quality and quantity of information contained within its covers can only be resulted from many, many hours of painstacking research in national, as well as local archives.

The sheer volume of information included in this welcome volume is remarkable and it is evident that all players who have appeared are included, whether they were listed on relatively few occasions, or like stalwarts such as Wilf Milne anb Herbie Willams, who wore our colours so often.

The result is a comprehensive, well written, production and well presented reference book. It is a volume which will grace any bookshelf, but one which will not gather dust, rather which will be read and re-read on many occations.
